Experiencing Life at Secondary School
Year 5 pupils from St John the Evangelist Catholic Primary School in Billingham enjoyed an amazing transition day at St Michael's Catholic Academy.
The visit gave the children a valuable opportunity to experience life at secondary school and explore some of the subjects they may study in the future.
A Day of Learning and New Challenges
Throughout the day, pupils took part in a range of exciting activities. They enjoyed PE lessons, carried out science experiments, tackled maths challenges and even made delicious biscuits during a food technology session.
The hands-on activities allowed children to try new experiences, develop their skills and build confidence in a new learning environment.
Looking Ahead to the Future
The transition day was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to gain an insight into what secondary school life is like and what they can look forward to in the years ahead.
We are proud of how well they represented the school and look forward to seeing them continue to grow and thrive as they move towards the next stage of their education.
